You will work as part of the Leasing and Acquisition team supporting all elements of the acquisition and asset management process. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop financial models and other analytical tools for acquisition analysis utilizing Argus and Excel software.
  • Property level underwriting of new and existing real estate investments.
  • Collection and analysis of market data.
  • Review of due diligence material.
  • Preparation of investment committee memorandums and analysis.
  • Act as liaison with accounting and finance staff to assist in quarterly valuations and portfolio analysis, partner distribution waterfall modeling and risk management.
  • Assist with mortgage debt solicitation, analysis and reporting.
  • Participate in the quarterly financial reporting, including assisting in calculation of cash flow statements, fair market valuation and anticipated IRR’s.
  • Help source acquisitions for the Company’s Value Add and Core products.
  • Adhoc duties assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Approximately 2-3 years of Acquisitions or Asset Management experience within the real estate industry. Investment banking backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Significant attention to financial, and operational detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Excel skills – including knowledge of various Lookups / Data Organization
  • ARGUS and analytics software a plus but not required.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Real Estate or Finance or related field.
