Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Essential Staffing Solutions is looking for dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated Apartment Leasing Professionals to join our team.

Job Description: The Leasing Professional is responsible for being the community's client service representative. Primary duties include greeting clients, presenting the features and benefits of the community, and properly securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork and assisting to ensure a smooth move-in
• Greet prospective residents, assess needs, answer questions and provide tours of the apartments and community
• Process applications, and prepare and review lease agreements and renewals
• Respond to in-person, phone and email inquiries, provide leasing information, make appointments and create and follow up with maintenance requests
• Assist with completing weekly, monthly and special reports as assigned by the Leasing Manager or Community Manager
• Receive deposits and rent money, and record appropriately
• Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone

Job Qualifications

• Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site)
• Must have a minimum of 6-12 months of previous Apartment Leasing experience
• Extensive Lease up experience for new construction apartment communities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented with ability to be a strong team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
• Flexible schedule, including weekends
• Ability to tour the community with clients, including walking the property and climbing stairs
• Ability to diffuse conflict and solve problems
