The Natural Resources team writes worldwide property exposures for entities domiciled in the United States and Canada, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemical Manufacturing, Power Generation, heavy Process Industries, and Mining. The coverage is typically written on a manuscript policy form within a layered & shared program structure, with clients expected to accept retentions containing normal loss frequency levels. Position Responsibilities Include Account solicitation, risk analysis, pricing, and sales of core commercial property products for new and existing customers. Develop a pipeline and manage renewals. Negotiate coverage, price, and terms with clients and agents/brokers. Collaborate with Global Client Executives to approach account underwriting and services strategically. Enhance Chubb's market presence. Drive financial performance of the Natural Resources Property portfolio. Achieve financial goals related to rate, growth, profit, retention, and new business. Work with underwriters and engineers globally to ensure consistent risk approaches and identify trends. Build underwriting expertise in Natural Resources sectors. Participate in cross-sell initiatives to expand product offerings. Adhere to Chubb’s climate policies regarding emissions, coal usage, and conservation. Qualifications Collaborative underwriting approach, primarily with Risk Engineering (90% of submissions require RE consultation). Strong sales, marketing, and negotiation skills. Minimum 7+ years of insurance industry experience. Proven relationship-building with agents and insureds. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to analyze complex accounts, prioritize, and organize with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, utilizing multiple resources effectively.
