Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) SPED Classroom

Pediatric, High-Needs Neurodivergent Program

$60,320 $70,720 | 29.00$34.00 per hour

Full-Time, Year-Round | 6 Weeks PTO + Medical + Dental + 401K

HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a self-contained classroom of 8 neurodivergent students (ages 57) with complex behavioral and medical needs. The RBT will work closely with the BCBA, teaching staff, and interdisciplinary team to deliver structured behavioral support in a school-based setting.

RBT Responsibilities:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision

Deliver 1:1 and group behavior support during instruction, transitions, and daily routines

Accurately collect and document behavioral data and student progress

Assist in preparing visual supports, reinforcement tools, and safety materials

Participate in student observation, data reporting, and goal tracking

Model behavioral strategies for paraprofessional and teaching staff as needed

Collaborate closely with BCBA, RN, OT, PT, classroom teachers, and paraprofessionals

Show up fully engaged, ready to support school-wide and classroom-based success

RBT Requirements:

Active RBT certification (required)

At least 1 year of experience in behavioral or special education settings (preferred)

Strong data collection, documentation, and reporting skills (required)

Must pass criminal background check and fingerprinting (required)

Comfort assisting with hygiene and mobility/lifting support (required)

Full-time, year-round availability MondayFriday on school days

Reliable transportation and ability to report onsite daily in Belmont, CA 94002

RBT Compensation:

$60,320 $70,720 | 29.00$34.00 per hour, DOE
