Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant - Pediatrics to support our client’s medical facility based in Seattle, WA. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Medical Assistant - Pediatrics
Location: Seattle, WA 98104
Duration: 3 Months+
Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour
*Pay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualifications.
Shift Options: 08:00-5:00 pm
Dress Code: Scrubs and closed-toe shoes (athletic wear is not appropriate). Any scrub color as long as appropriate.
Certification Required: MA-C
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our pediatrics team in Seattle. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing high-quality care to our young patients and their families.
Specific Duties:
Rooming patients and preparing them for their appointments.
Managing the Inbasket and ensuring timely responses to patient communications.
Providing between-visit care to support patient needs.
Performing tasks in accordance with CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) standards.
Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C).
Experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
Experience with obtaining vitals and administering immunizations is preferred.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility and willingness to work collaboratively with a team while also being able to work independently.
Ability to maintain a calming demeanor, especially when working with children and anxious new parents.
