Clinical Social Worker, Needham at Boston Children's Hospital summary:

A Clinical Social Worker providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to pediatric patients and their families at Boston Children’s Hospital Needham satellite. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, resource referral, and program development to support patient care. Requires a Master's in social work, LICSW licensure in Massachusetts, and experience in medical and child protection environments.

Position Summary/Department Summary:
We are seeking a 40- hour generalist social worker that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management to our patients and their families in our soon to open Needham satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital (free parking!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community services
• Acting as a resource information and referral program development
• Psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Master’s degree in social work.

Experience:

• Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in a medical environment and with child protection issues helpful
• Diverse candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Licensure/Qualifications:

• LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required

Schedule is 8:30-5pm
This position is 100% onsite
