Projects are performed in the 5 boroughs of New York City, Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk), and other areas in the region as needed.

Fire Sprinkler Company seeking to fill positions for Fire Sprinkler Inspectors in NYC and Long Island. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime available.

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience preferred. Inspections for buildings located in NYC, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau & Suffolk Counties.

Ideal candidate should have valid S12 & S13 Certificates of Fitness, Nassau County Fire Marshal Certificate of Fitness Type 2 and must have a valid, clean driver’s license.

Inspectors must have the ability to use technology to keep track of all inspections done as well as submit to work order system based in-office. Knowledge of NFPA 25 required.

Salary commensurate with experience. Will train.

Work Location: Multiple Locations- Must be comfortable with daily driving to multiple locations.

Applicants should have a working knowledge and experience with:

• NFPA 13 and NFPS 25
• Fire Pumps, Dry Systems, Wet Systems
• Basic Inspection Processes
• Internet and computer literacy

Successful applicants should also possess:

• The ability to identify service items and deficiencies within a system
• A sense of responsibility required to review work and execute on a timeline
• The ability and/or experience working with others in overlapping roles
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
