Description: Overview
You will be the Industrial Electrician for our maintenance team, responsible for constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining complex production machinery and associated electronic equipment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for working on a wide range of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, temperature control instruments, control panels, wiring conduits, motor starters, X-ray equipment, transformers, High Voltage Switchgear, Robotics, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, fire alarm systems, and Facility Lighting systems. You will construct, install, test, and maintain these systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining complex production machinery and associated electronic equipment
* Working on a wide range of electrical systems and equipment, including:
+ Motors and generators
+ Temperature control instruments and control panels
+ Wiring conduits and motor starters
+ X-ray equipment and transformers
+ High Voltage Switchgear and Robotics
+ Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems and fire alarm systems
+ Facility Lighting systems
* Ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are functioning properly and safely
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues as needed
* Collaborating with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operation of production facilities

Basic Qualifications:
Education: Requires comprehensive knowledge of electrical and associated electronic equipment, instruments, machinery, motors and transformers.

Knowledge of the National Electric Code as it pertains to the facility and machineries within the plant

Equivalent to four (4) years of high school education plus four (4) years of trades training.

Experience Three (3) years working experience in the electrical industry
Desired Skills:
Initiative and Ingenuity to plan, construct, install, test, modify, repair and maintain a wide variety of electrical and associated electronic equipment when only limited information or general methods are available.

Show initiative to act prudently and decisively during emergencies to avoid damage to equipment and/or facility and prevent production delays.

Show initiative to improvise layout in changing or setting up new systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
