🔧 Injection Molding Process Technician

📍 West Henrietta, NY | 🕒 Full-Time

Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for precision and quality? Our client in West Henrietta, New York , is looking for a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician to join their team and play a critical role in optimizing plastic injection molding processes.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Set up, start, and shut down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Optimize molding parameters to ensure cycle time, product quality, and reduced scrap
• Perform mold changes and machine setups efficiently and safely
• Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to resolve tooling or product-related concerns
• Document machine settings, process changes, and maintenance activities
• Train machine operators on basic troubleshooting and equipment operation
• Support preventive maintenance scheduling with the maintenance team
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and ensure a clean working environment

🎯 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certificate or associate degree preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in plastic injection molding operations
• Strong knowledge of molding machines, tooling, robotics, and thermoplastic materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Solid problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime

🔩 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, heat, moving machinery)
