About The Role The Wellington Solutions team is responsible for multi-manager, multi-asset and custom solutions, managing various outcome-oriented portfolios on behalf of clients. The team also provides bespoke research and advice across various topics such as asset allocation, manager research, fundamental factors, total portfolio approaches and portfolio construction. We are seeking an analyst to support the allocation and manager research effort for the Extended Platform, a $13 billion platform of fundamental extension strategies in the US, Global, and International markets. Wellington Solutions manages $19 billion in equity solutions and $60 billion overall. The role will entail manager research on our internal investors, investment management, risk management and portfolio construction concepts, and demonstrated interest in learning these concepts is important. Qualifications The successful candidate is likely to have: c. 3-6 years of relevant professional experience with manager research equity research, or fund of funds; Intellectual curiosity: the ability to ask good questions, problem solve, think entrepreneurially, develop new tools, and adapt to client challenges Fiduciary Mindset: working responsibly and independently as part of a highly collaborative team focused on delivering best client outcomes. Engages in respectful debate and knows when to ask for help Learning Agility: Lifelong learner. Progress towards/willingness to complete CFA/CAIA. Passion for technology, risk, and portfolio construction: demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology and analyze data. Programming skills are a plus as is knowledge of relevant systems e.g. Factset, Axioma, Spotfire Highly organized: proven ability to distil and synthesize information efficiently and to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment with multiple competing deadlines Strong relationship building and clear communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is:

USD 80,000 - 180,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
