We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of irrigation systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install new irrigation systems according to design plans and specifications.
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Adjust and program irrigation controllers for optimal performance and water efficiency.
• Replace or upgrade system components such as sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and pumps.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance activities including system winterization and spring start-ups.
• Ensure compliance with local water regulations and guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating irrigation equipment and tools.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation system components and design principles.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in irrigation installation or maintenance.
• Experience with drip irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of water conservation practices.
• Ability to run a front-end loader
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of yard equipment and tools is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
