IT Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the high availability and performance of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems critical for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, and cybersecurity defenses across production facilities.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, CMMS).
• Provide technical support and incident management for IT and OT issues affecting production lines.
• Develop and execute IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives, focusing on efficiency, automation, and digital transformation.
• Manage IT projects from conception to completion, including budget, scope, and timeline adherence.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance for manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and applications in a manufacturing environment, including ERP, MES, and OT systems.
• Proven leadership in IT project management, team development, and budget oversight.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, network architecture, and data management best practices.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IoT, and automation technologies relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging IT with operational teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or PLC integration.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts (e.g., IoT, AI/ML in manufacturing, digital twins).
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices within Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with specific ERP modules for production planning or supply chain management in manufacturing.
