Job Description

Black & Black is a Shopify Plus Partner digital design and development agency that specializes in e-commerce websites for intelligent brands. We work with exciting brands across fashion, beauty and home goods. Our team is extremely collaborative and fully distributed.

We are currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our talented team. The Junior Project Manager will have a passion for e-Commerce and manage day-to-day project execution across website development project(s) which includes the development of timelines, sprint planning, content management training and strong communication skills to work independently.

Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day website project execution, with direction and oversight from a senior Project Manager.
2. Develop and manage project schedules, task estimates, sprints and client status updates.
3. Work with senior project management team to create and maintain project roadmaps and requirements documentation.
4. Run Asana ticketing system for assigned projects, communicate with clients, and verify QA and deployment activities for assigned clients.
5. Assist clients with CMS troubleshooting and tasks, including content population and app integrations.
6. Partner with senior team to develop strong working relationships with clients.
7. Make important, relevant contributions in client and internal meetings, with a focus on generating workable conclusions.
8. Demonstrate a solution mindset to tackle complex issues with an appetite to learn.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of project management experience, agency experience strongly preferred.
2. Prior experience working in Shopify platform.
3. Understanding of third-party applications, platforms, and integrations.
4. Understanding of business and functional requirements, and how they impact the outcome of a project.
5. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and succeed in fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to apply common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed instructions.
7. Highly proactive, with a passion to learn new skills.
8. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
9. Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
10. Level-headed under pressure.
