Job Description

Overview

As a Junior Project Manager (P1), you will be responsible for Project performance objectives (Quality, Cost, Profitability, Delivery and Timing) in the management of one Project, while ensuring Project coordination to achieve the project launch in compliance with Valeo and Customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage operationally and functionally the P0 or simple P1 Project he/she is assigned to
• Manage OEM/OES P0/P10 or simple P1 Projects (Components with mature technology, )
• Is responsible for the achievement of the Project KPI in terms of profitability, Quality and timing and Production Preparation
• Secure Project resources and control them
• Solve all project issues requiring any type of support of all suitable functions via the Project Escalation
• Check and validate Project Team Members activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones
• Define and manage their budget including the budget of Project part of their Project while defining the scope of the project
• Prepare decision making process for relevant committee and challenge their project team readiness
• Contribute, Prepare and submit Investment Authorization Request (IAR) (Project level)
• Is applying Design to Cost methodology
• Escalate at the right level and with relevant speed/anticipation the gaps versus targets
• Is functionally responsible of all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Members

Communication with Customers

• Manage communication with Customers on Project development progress
• Keep client(s) updated on Project progress.
• Prepare/validate reports on Project development progress to Project Steering Committee (PSC) and to all Governance stages when required
• Manage customer relationships (local) and coordinate communication within their team. Ensure management of Escalation if any.

What You Should Have

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in the automotive industry with knowledge of engineering changes procedures applicable in automotive in general and OEMs in particular is a plus.
• Experience within technology or new mobility is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of applicable experience

Salary

Salary Range: $104,000-146,000

The exact salary will be determined based on a variety of factors such as years of relevant experience, education, and skillset.
