This role supports the Program Manager in organizing and managing the “Merchandise Planning Transformation” (MPT) program, which involves significant technology and business process transformation within the merchandising area. It is a key enabler for REI’s ongoing operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining program documentation, tracking progress, reporting, risk management, coordination, and communication with the team and stakeholders. The role models REI’s values and mission. Responsibilities and Qualifications Manage and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and effective completion. Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including plans, schedules, resources, milestones, and tasks. Facilitate communication related to schedules, activities, issue resolution, and process improvements. Prepare and share regular status reports and updates with stakeholders. Manage collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Drive process improvements and facilitate issue resolution. Coordinate scheduling for meetings and events. Review updates and insights to identify potential roadblocks or missed deadlines. Develop contingencies and ensure documentation is current and communicated. Implement and maintain project workflows and tools like Jira and Confluence. Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks. Respond to program questions and requests, and document meeting minutes. Required Qualifications 3+ years of project coordination or PMO support experience in a mid to large corporate environment. 5+ years of experience or equivalent education demonstrating effectiveness in dynamic, unstructured environments. Proven ability to facilitate projects and motivate teams in fast-paced settings. Experience working cross-divisionally and with management at all levels. Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
