TruePani Inc., an environmental consulting and communications firm, is seeking a part time graphic designer or graphic design intern to join a passionate team tackling water quality projects focused on reducing lead in drinking water.

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to help us evolve our brand identity while maintaining the professionalism expected of an engineering firm. This role will support visual strategy and execution across our digital and print materials, with a focus on consistency, clarity, and visual credibility.

The position is part-time (~10 to 20 hours per week) with a preference for candidates based in Knoxville, TN. Ideally, some days will be spent working in the office and some days working from home. However, fully remote candidates will be considered. It is anticipated that the position will last for about four months with the ability to extend based on need and quality of work product produced. This role is an immediate need.

Responsibilities

The individual in this role will work with the leadership team to develop and refine existing company materials and branding.

Successful individuals in this role are highly motivated, excel at communication, and are able to work both within teams and independently. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with our leadership and communications team to revise and expand our brand guidelines
• Redesign and modernize report templates, slide decks, and presentation tools
• Support a refresh of the company website—including layout, color schemes, icons, and visuals
• Develop visual assets for client-facing deliverables (e.g., infographics, case studies, and social media)
• Review and revise existing materials
• Ensure all materials reflect the values and tone of the firm

Qualifications

• Graphic design experience (consulting, environmental, or public sector experience a plus)
• Strong portfolio showcasing clean, professional, and brand-consistent work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma or similar
• Familiarity with branding for technical audiences or public health communication is a plus
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, visually compelling materials
• Comfortable working independently and iteratively with a small, collaborative team

Contract Details:
