We are looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer with hands-on experience in ROS2 , SLAM , and Nav2 to join our robotics team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently deploying SLAM and Nav2 stacks on real robots and bring up full navigation pipelines. Familiarity with AWS-based deployment or infrastructure management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and deploy SLAM (e.g., slam_toolbox, Cartographer) and Nav2 stacks in ROS2.
• Integrate robot hardware (sensors, actuators, LiDAR, odometry, etc.) with the ROS2 ecosystem.
• Build and manage navigation pipelines including localization, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize robot navigation in dynamic and real-world environments.
• (Optional) Leverage AWS services (e.g., Greengrass, IoT Core, RoboMaker) for cloud-based robot management or deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ROS2 , including package development and system integration.
• Strong understanding of SLAM algorithms and hands-on deployment experience.
• Experience setting up and tuning Nav2 for mobile robots.
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python within the ROS2 development workflow.
• Comfortable working with Linux, Git, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS services relevant to robotics (RoboMaker, Greengrass, etc.).
• Familiarity with simulation tools like Gazebo or RViz for testing navigation stacks.
• Knowledge of multi-robot coordination, sensor fusion, or behavior trees.
