Job Description

A school is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide specialized support for a kindergarten student who is wheelchair-bound. This position involves conducting an initial evaluation and delivering ongoing therapy services throughout the academic school year under a contract arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a comprehensive initial physical therapy evaluation for the student.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student's specific needs.
• Provide consistent physical therapy services across the school year, monitoring and documenting progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with valid state credentials.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a K-12 educational setting.
• Skilled in providing care for students with mobility challenges, including wheelchair users.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ability to manage part-time hours while maintaining flexibility throughout the school year.
