As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol in Salem, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in the dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will be entrusted with monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a secure atmosphere for all on site. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming environment, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication helps to foster positive interactions throughout the location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining access control procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
