️ Skilled Carpenter – Spyglass Home Builders

Position: Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll work directly under our lead carpenter and alongside apprentice carpenters to complete high-quality residential remodels and custom builds.

Responsibilities

• Execute all phases of construction from planning to completion
• Lead a small crew and allocate resources efficiently
• Maintain project timelines and job site safety
• Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, architects, and clients
• Negotiate material and labor costs
• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and detail

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in residential construction
• At least 1 year experience running a crew
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding building codes
• Familiarity with construction management software (Buildertrend is a plus)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable truck and full complement of pro-level tools
• Ability to pass a background check
• Minimum of 3 solid references

Compensation: $30–$40/hr DOE + full benefits
Location: Greater Seattle & Eastside

We are also hiring for the following:

Carpenter

Our carpenters work directly under the lead carpenter completing assigned tasks in at a timely and high quality level. We are looking for carpenters to be reliable and be presentable when on the job site. You will be working with apprentice carpenters doing framing, finish carpentry, decks, siding, cabinet install, and railings.

Requisites include a minimum of three years of carpentry experience. We ask our Carpenters to have a good compliment of pro level tools and a reliable truck.

Minimum of 3 solid references.

Compensation- $25-30hr DOE with benefits
