The Role

EnergyX is seeking a visionary Visual & 3D Experience Designer to lead the development of compelling, immersive, and strategically driven digital content. This role sits at the intersection of visual storytelling, web development, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for creating engaging user experiences across digital channels-leveraging your expertise in graphic design, web design and development, 3D renderings, and animation. This position will work on-site at our headquarters in Austin, TX.


Key Responsibilities

• Visual & Interactive Design
  • Design high-impact digital assets for websites, marketing campaigns, social platforms, presentations, and branded content.
  • Develop and maintain visual identity systems and creative guidelines.

• Web Design & Development
  • Design, develop, and optimize user-centric websites and landing pages using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms such as WordPress or Webflow).
  • Ensure responsive and accessible designs across devices and browsers.
• 3D Rendering & Animation
  • Create high-quality 3D renderings and product visualizations for marketing, sales, and virtual experiences.
  • Develop animated assets for web, social media, and video platforms.
• Digital Marketing Support
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support campaigns with engaging digital creative.
  • Develop interactive assets and animations for use in digital advertising, email, and social campaigns.
• Collaboration & Strategy
  • Translate business and marketing goals into user-focused digital experiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, sales, and technical teams to deliver unified digital narratives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a multidisciplinary digital design role.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma, and 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in front-end development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and SEO best practices.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-level execution across web, animation, and 3D design projects. Please add job samples to your application.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with WebGL, Lottie, or other advanced web animation techniques.
Familiarity with motion graphics pipelines and video editing.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing analytics and tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot).
