What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n - Run reports in systems such as WMS, Sunbeam or other WMS or labor reporting systems.
\n - Assist department leader in managing the workflow as needed.
\n - Provide required information to supervisors and managers to meet reporting and metric requirements.
\n - Assist with communicating information to departmental teams.
\n - Analyze data from information and develop recommendations for action or improvement.
\n - Maintain system as required due to upgrades or business changes.
\n - Ensure compliance with systems and SOPS and audit activity to ensure compliance.
\n - Coordinate and communicate any major changes or enhancements to the systems.
\n - Work closely with Clerical support, supervisors, and managers at the location and those providing central administration and/or services.
\n - Interact with customer service to expedite and manage high touch customer requests, research complaints, and resolve issues.
\n - Provide support and backup for operations specialist role in other departments as needed.
\n - Provide support and backup in various warehouse functional areas as needed.
\n - Direct associate concerns to department leader.
\n

What you bring to the table:
\n
\n - Significant above average math skills.
\n - Perceptible verbal, written and communications skills with a focus on detail oriented.
\n - Calculable building metrics and knowledge of Staples product flow and the interdependencies between departments.
\n - Ability to help supervisors lead and coordinate effective work operations using data and information to help improve processes.
\n - Ability to work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative and effective manner.

Qualifications:
\n
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
\n
\n - 1+ years of basic Microsoft Excel computer skills
\n - 1+ years of basic knowledge (depending on location) of EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400 system, Sunbeam, BRIO, Cubiscan dimension calculation equipment, AMS software for Cubiscan
\n - Certification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn
\n
\n
\n
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
\n
\n - Microsoft Access experience preferred
\n - Knowledge of MS Teams environment preferred including Power BI
\n
\n
\n

\n - Competitive Pay: $18.90/hour - $28.45/hour Based on Experience, plus $1.25/hour Shift Differential
