POSITION AVAILABLE AT THE CITY OF WASHINGTON WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT
1ST Shift Treatment Plant Operator
Hours:
* 6 Days: 7 am - 3 pm*
* 2 Days Off*
* Days worked and days off will rotate.
Pay Rate: $24.11/hr. w/excellent benefit pkg.
Job Description (WILL TRAIN):
* The position is under the direction of the treatment plant Supervisor/Head Operator.
* Will occasionally perform all laboratory testing and sam pling; assist in operation,
maintenance, and cleaning of the wastewater treatment plant buildings, facilities
and equipment.
* Work is done both indoors and out in a variety of weather conditions.
* Depending on task performed the noise intensity ranges moderate to extreme.
* Employees are to be constantly aware of safety require ments.
* Operates the wastewater treatment plant on weekends and holidays, when assigned.
