Position: School Psychologist/Social Worker High School

Location: Auburn, ME
Job Duration: School Year

An opportunity has arisen for skilled School Psychologists and Social Workers to provide essential services in a high school setting. This role focuses on supporting student mental health and well-being through counseling and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions (30 minutes each) for students.
• Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of educational plans.
• Write and maintain progress notes and goals to track student progress and needs.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive school environment.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid ME SSW/Counselor or Psychologist certification.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to manage a caseload of students while documenting progress and needs accurately.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
