Job Description :-
Azure Devops:-
Most of the projects migrated to Azure DevOps. (Octopus is a sunset in AJG, still in use for some projects. As there won't be much new request in Octopus, only regular deployment activity involved. ADO person can take this with Training)
Org Creation not a regular activity. This will be performed by cloud ops . Coordination would be required from us.
Creation of Project
Configure IDM products
Creating build pipeline
Setting up pipeline as per project .
sometime developer will be creating pipeline, we will have to assist. Some cases entire activity will be given to us.
Collaborating with development teams to define deployment steps and ensure accuracy
Creating Release pipeline
Implement release pipelines based on project requirements
Create and configure deployment groups and environments
Optimize pipeline for minimal downtime and efficient deployment
Ensure deployments are executed within allocated windows
Monitor deployments for issues and address errors promptly
Server configuration and maintenance
MWO ensures that all bot servers are operational, license are assigned, and the environment configured correctly
Maintains orchestrator connectivity by setting up machine keys and URLs
Bot Deployment
Handles the deployment of .nupkg files (UiPath Packages) developed by RPA developers
Uploads and updates these packages in the orchestrator for execution
Job Management
Schedules and monitors jobs for various processes
Logs errors or failures and coordinates with development team for fixes
Error Handling
Resolve server-related issues like service interruptions, log backups, or connection failures
Escalates application specific issues to the development team
Access and Role Management
Adds users and manages their roles in UiPath Orchestrator
Assigns permissions at tenant and folder levels
Licensing
Manages licenses for bots, ensuring proper allocation between production and non-production environment.
Adeptia:-
Assisting with any ADO features/concerns
Adding servers, installing agents , adding it into deployment group
Analyze logs to resolve deployment issues and ensure smooth operations
Monitor deployments
Weekly and monthly restarts of ABBYY servers
Collaborate with the RPA team to stop bots before server restarts
Monitor task flow in the processing monitor to ensure smooth operations
Monitor server nodes to ensure all nodes are online and functioning
Restart the Elasticsearch and more services if any node goes offline
Check the status of indices and shards to ensure proper functionality Deploy Zip files for process flows in Adeptia environments
Perform maintenance tasks, log file management including monthly log sharing with the vendor
Manage server configurations, restart services, and monitor node statuses
Implement upgrades based on vendor provided instructions
Troubleshoot issues and escalate to vendor if unresolved
Access Management
Upgrades are guided by vendor
