Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain floor care through buffing, waxing, and polishing as needed
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good condition
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment
• Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus
• Knowledge of residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous
• Background in facilities maintenance or porter experience is beneficial

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
