This position is responsible for the supervision of live-streaming County events such as Board of County Commissioners meetings, as well as shooting and editing video content for Osceola County's internal and external communications needs. This role executes the end-to-end creation and editing of engaging multimedia content across various platforms, including but not limited to social media and the web. The ideal candidate should possess a strong visual eye, technical expertise in live multicamera video and streaming production, and a passion for storytelling. Employees in this classification will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their objectives and transform ideas into compelling multimedia content. Duties require independent judgment and the ability to work alone and as a member of a team.

- Manages production of all events in the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners chambers, including audio-visual production and live streaming, ensuring flawless technical aspects of production both in-person and online.
- Coordinates and schedules contractors to staff streaming productions as needed.
- Troubleshoots technical issues as needed or manages troubleshooting of issues in conjunction with outside vendors.
- Generates multimedia content ideas and develop creative concepts to share Osceola County's story with its residents and the public at large.
- Develops, produces, and edits multimedia content, including but not limited to videos, animations, and other visual assets.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand representation across all multimedia content.
- Ensures all multimedia content is optimized for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
- Utilizes industry-standard software and equipment to capture, edit, and enhance multimedia content.
- Conducts research to identify current trends and best practices within multimedia production and incorporates them into content strategies.
- Maintains an organized and comprehensive multimedia content library for easy access and reuse.
- Stays up to date with emerging technologies and tools related to multimedia content production and adopts new techniques as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, TV/Film production, Digital Media, or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years experience at the level outlined in the essential job functions. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred: - Experience with NewTek TriCaster switcher or similar equipment
- Experience with Crestron A/V systems
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- FAA Drone/Remote Pilot Certification preferred
- Bilingual, with proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred
Miscellaneous: Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficient in using various multimedia equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, etc.
- Proficiency in multimedia editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- At minimum, working knowledge of live events and live streaming productions using Vimeo or similar platforms
- Familiarity and experience using multicamera broadcast switcher and audio board
- High-level customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, especially when working with C-Suite level executives.
- Strong visual communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Ability to understand complex information and transform it into concise and engaging multimedia content
- Knowledge and ability to test in multiple interfaces and/or browsers for optimal performance.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skill in organizational and proactive communication functions.
- Ability to properly implement County branding including standards and guidelines.
- Ability to maintain an appropriate file management system.
- Ability to effectively manage broad and diverse project workload in a deadline-driven work environment.

Medical Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) : The County contributes $500 per employee or $1,000 for employee plus dependents, for medical and prescription-related expenses.
State-of-the-Art Employee W ellnes s Center : The County provides a private health center for County Employees and eligible dependents. The Employee Wellness Center offers an array of primary care services, including sick visits, enhanced by x-ray services, pulmonary tests, lab work, and a dispensary offering over 200 generic medications onsite. Services at the Wellness Center are offered at no cost to the employees and their eligible dependents.
- Employees who are enrolled on the County's Medical plan have access to the Employee Wellness Center on day one of employment. The Wellness Center is available to patients 8 years of age and older.
Basic Life Insurance Policy: At no cost to the employee, equal to one time the employee's annual salary, rounded to the next thousand dollars. Employees can opt to buy additional Life Insurance.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability: At no cost to the employee. The County offers Short-Term and Long-Term Disability at 60% of the employee's weekly base salary. The employee has the option to purchase an additional 10% coverage.
Membership in the Florida Retirement System: This benefit cannot be easily matched by a traditional 401k plan. Current County contributions are:

The Florida Retirement System (FRS) offers two retirement plans - the Investment Plan and the Pension Plan. Both plans are subject to a mandatory 3% employee contribution.
