Digital Content Manager, HyFlyers GC

HyFlyers GC, one of twelve teams within the LIV Golf League, is looking to recruit a Digital Content Manager. This individual will manage short form content production and content distribution across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, X, and YouTube as well as community engagement and outreach.

Responsibilities:

• Ideate various content series that showcase HyFlyers GC Team Members and their individual journeys throughout the LIV Golf Season in order to grow the team's fanbase.
• Assist in shooting and editing short form content featured across all digital channels, marketing materials, TV broadcast, and social media channels.
• Manage content distribution across all team digital channels including YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
• Generate new content ideas and pitch them to team members and other key stakeholders.
• Create content strategies that consistently drive growth for each specific platform and showcase our players and team in new and interesting ways. Create actionable insights using various social media listening tools.
• Collaborate with other departments within HyFlyers GC to ensure positive outcomes in all areas including Sponsorship, Marketing, Communications, Merchandise, and others.
• Spearhead community management efforts in order to maintain a connected and dedicated fan base.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience content production
• Expert photo, graphic, and video editing proficiency in order to deliver content in both a high quality and timely manner.
• Experience working at a professional sports organization or working with professional athletes.
• In-depth understanding of the digital and social media landscape, in particular how platforms are used to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrable project management within a multi-platform campaign
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in tight deadline windows.
• Ability to travel to all events and work nights or weekends as necessary.
• Strong knowledge of professional golf. Experience working in golf is highly preferable, but not necessary.
